Wat sex are these silkies

One thing i did not mention earlier which now i think is very stupid of me but as i lay in bed and common sense is kicking in ... and im going to use the word "regular silkie" and "miniature silkie" with hope you know wat im talking about... so... regular silkies have small eggs as we all know and i have got 28 of them in my incubator so i know wat size and shape they should be, now these miniature silkies are laying eggs smaller than regular silkie eggs, the 2 silkies im asking for help of gendering have been together for last 2 months and this week started laying like i mention earlier posts and like i said i dont know wich one it was, regular or mini.. but the egg is smaller than a regular silkie egg almost size of a quail or slightly larger (i will compare tomorrow i have few quails) so doesnt that mean it came from the mini silkie as its not a regular size that would come from a regular silkie .... 🥴🥴🥴🥴 OMG as i write this i feel so stupid, was the answer right there before my eyes all along about the sex of the miniature silkie 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

last two photos look roo, first two, hen
I'm not sure how to quote on the exact photo. there is one eating from a feeder, in both photos eating from feeder looks like a roo. might be the same roo actually. the others look very female. i just had a batch and at 4 weeks there was no doubt who was roo but some are late bloomers and if you don't have a lot of brothers and sisters to compare you can guess wrong.

My roo was pictured 2 months ago hes same colour now
Here are some great link to check out..

His pajama pants looked smokey grey, and why I called him "blue". In most birds the grey looking color is called blue. The first link describes "grey" the actual correct term for Silkies in the US being described as Silver Partridge in Silkies.. Finding correct photos of grey/silver partridge seems nearly impossible..

Silver partridge (grey in the US) is towards the bottom of the page..

Easy to read standard for the UK..

I'm not sure if your guy is "grey" or if he is cross of colors.. he might be grey for real! I'm very unfamiliar with that variety and the leakages or other anomalies that may pop up.. to say 100% with no uncertainty. It's been fun to try and figure it out with you though! :)

that minature silkie is definately laying eggs and its fertile so now im thinking that regular silkie is a roo.. ill add clearer pictures today see wat u think 😊👍 and of my grey/blue roo 😆
