I was disappointed. The guy insinuated the chickens eat what the family eats, like Thai food, Chinese food. Not many nutrients in that...mostly sodium and fat.
Also, was not happy those kids were chasing them all over! How stressful for those poor chickens.
I agree they should have done their research and flew Rob to NYC.

All this time I've been buying chicken feed, and I could have just fed them pizza, bacon and sausage along with the occasional leaf of something!

Aw, I missed it! I usually always watch the Today Show...

What is the big deal about letting chickens eat table scraps and letting your kids run around after the chickens? THat is the norm here at my house

I thought they were a nice little family of good ol country folks in the city trying to raise some chickens.....I don't think we should be so critical of people just because they don't speak like a English professor, have a "Better Homes & Garden" type place and they feed their chickens scraps and let their kids play with the chickens.....good grief. I thought they were a really nice family and did a really good job!!

I only caught the last part of the show.... I'm glad they showed that chickens are not freaks for pets...

My only complaint is with the first group, those chickens seemed like they were in small coops a bit packed..... But it is an addiction...
