Waterer Questions

I'm currently using a 3 gallon plastic heated waterer for my flock: http://www.tractorsupply.com/farm-innovators-heated-poultry-fount-3-gal--1011128
My two call ducks, 1 pekin, 3 Plymouth Rocks and 5 Buff Orpingtons finish the water very quickly and i have to fill it every night. Does this seem like a reasonable amount of water for them to go through, or is the waterer just leaking somehow? Also, can you recommend or have any ideas for a new waterer that i will have to fill less frequently, yet will still be able to be heated in the winter? Thanks!

I'm not sure how much ducks drink but if it is only used for drinking water, that seems like quite a bit. Is it in a place where you would see if it is leaking?

Winter Watering is limited but if you are willing to switch out each winter, there are many much better options.
