Watering and Feeding in Coop and Run or just Coop?

I only water outside in the run during spring, summer & fall. During the winter I only water inside since that is where the heater has to be hooked up. I learned the hard way a few years back & left waterers out during the winter & they froze & busted

I only feed in the coop so I don't take a chance on the feed getting rained on. Mine can find the water when I switch it around, so I don't think having 2 different locations would confuse them.
