I sent for a dozen self blue bantam eggs on e bay and put them in my incubator with several different bantam eggs of my own. After 5 days, I candled them. Most of my eggs are showing veins, I am especially pleased with two eggs that I didn't expect to be fertile. Anyway of the twelve eggs sent to me, not one is showing fertility and all of them are very 'runny' and liquidy looking i.e. the white looks wrong.
Any ideas? Would these eggs be old or badly handled or what. I am pretty experienced at hatching but am upset that I paid for eggs that are not viable for whatever reason.....

I was told as I had the same thing happen that its from shipping and they have broken air cells and will not hatch. Sorry.
