watery crop

Thanks Max101, Horsefeatherz, and BarkerChickens. She is pooping more regular today (as in volume) and actually had a pretty full crop tonight. A lot more energy and fussing wanting to walk around the house. ticked off that she can not get off the paper zone. If the weather stays good I may let her stay out late in the duck coop after I set up a roost, and probably start bringing her in later around 9-10pm. Just not too much too fast until I start to feel some weight being put back on.
DH and some of my other chicken friends are shocked that she has bounced back. I want to be able to take her back to the vet after she puts on some weight. I am sure he thought the worse, but gave me that little bit of hope when he said there was a slim chance the tylan my help. So I am sure this will be my last post on this thread, now its just a matter of good feed and time.
Thanks to everyone else who was rooting for Maude!!!!!!!!!!!!BYC members are the best!

This is the absolute last post. I have to report that Maude is putting on weight, eating good, pooping good and is back with the flock for a week now. With the exception that I will not let her in the same yard with Foolzer the roo, he is too zealous and young. Big Daddy Cletis watches over her but knows that she needs time. He is such a great Roo!

Just an Update. Maude has been doing great, back 100% all these months. But the last few days the tumor just went crazy growing. Nothing could be done. She was doing fine all day, roaming as usual, just a bit slower. Tonight she went into the coop as normal but came out of the coop just before lock down and leaned up against the coops porch. I picked her up and walked with her in my arms while she laid her head against my chest and she passed away within 15 minutes. The area of the tumor felt like it tripled is just one day and seemed to filled her insides.
Thanks to all who supported me when things looked bleak. Just wanted to give an update. She will be dearly missed.

am sorry for your loss. many would have given up long before and for that, maude is a lucky chicken.
