Watery eyes, general lethargy

I just noticed the same thing on one of my hens. Should I worry about how deep I get the needle in? Anywhere on the breast will work as long as I alternate?

Following the thread here we decided to give our 8 wk old Americauna chick the Tylan but reduced dose to 1/2cc due to size and shot her in the thigh because her breast is tiny, crop was full and we were uncertain. Hope this works! Thoughts or additional advice is welcome. We also decided to put duramycin 10 in the water of all the chicks as preventative. We really don't like using pharmaceuticals but we also don't want to loose them and it will all be out of their little bodies way b4 they lay their first eggs. We did 400 mg of the duramycin to 1gal. Wish us luck.

I have two sick birds, i have a frizzle cochin who has one watery eye, i have separated it along with my easter egger who now has both eyes completely shut and purple feet. I Am in ontario canada. the EE also has purple feet!
They are still babies only about 6 weeks. How can i treat this?

We tried the oxytetracycline, Penicillin, electrolytes, treated feed with no success and finally we sprayed their eyes with the purple pink eye spray (for cattle) and it has cleared up right away. It took two treatments on the hens that had their eyes swollen right shut, just one treatment when they just started with bubbles in their eyes.
