Watery eyes....

This could be major, as it has a high possibility of being a respiratory disease. You didn’t do anything wrong, diseases just happen sometimes. Be prepared for the vets to be completely oblivious to the fact chickens even get sick though.

This is my first time raising chickens and I didnt realise how hard they are to look after .... but I'm praying for the best and I'm going to do my best for him whatever the outcome may be.... :(
Just sad I guess 😞😞😞😞

It seems you caught it early on, and that’s good. There are treatments for most respiratory diseases, so with a little hard work you can help him get through it. Chickens can be easy to take care for, but normally they take lots of hard work and affection.

It’s perfectly normal for you to get attached to a chicken, most of us love our flocks like they are our children. But sometimes things like illnesses strike and you just need to power through it and do all you can for the bird.

Im crossing my fingers he turns out okay.

do private vet deal with chichens (i hope so)? When are you going to see him? Chickens health is more important than money for me (for you too i suppose :) )

I hope the nose isnt runny? Can't wait to hear some good news about your pet :D He doesn't seem THAT bad. As someone before me said, it may be an early stage of disease, which may be easy to cure
