watery white poo picture..3 year old polish Hen lethargic, droopy wings

I have the liquid corid, this is her third day on it. I don't have valbazen and I don't know what if any kind of worms she has so I'm trying to use the best wormer I can find. Is there a risk to using the z gold? so many different stories, I don't want to hurt her.

The only risk using Zimectrin Gold is that it won't kill anything but tapeworms. If she were mine I would want to rule out worms, which means worming with something like Safeguard or Valbazen, it also means doing it orally as I stated in post #7 https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...lish-hen-lethargic-droopy-wings#post_14722018 .

Do you have a scale? Can you take her to a vet?

OK so my Polish is about the same, no worse no better. She is eating and drinking but only weighs 2 lbs now. I did not worm her with zgold but I did worm again with wazine after waiting 10 days. So heres the thing, I did take her fecal sample in to be tested for paratsites and it came back negative. So now I still need to figure out why she isnt passing her food through her system very well. Shes not like dying or anything but I am fearful something is not right, the amount going in does equal the amount coming out (very watery too ) and her crop is full in the morning.

Ruled out:
Sour Crop-no smell and I cant get any liquid to drain also nto super squishy or hard
Not egg bound
No sign of egg perotonitis
Abdomin is normal
Treated for Cocci

So hoping its not a tumor thats about all I can think of at this point.

Did you notice an moldy feed recently? I ask because your chicken's droppings look exactly like my EE's. Cocci was confirmed by a vet, but the course of Corid did not clear up the watery/green droppings or her lethargy. She improved slightly, but not enough for her to eat or drink enough on her own. About 2 weeks prior to her visible symptoms, I removed a feeder with moldy feed courtesy of the sudden warm up and wet weather we got around Christmas. I suspect clostridium perfringens, which I am now treating with antibiotics. I think the clostridium perfringens weakened her enough to contract Cocci (no other flock members showed symptoms, but were all treated with Corid and are all well). One day of treatment and I see a drastic improvement. She is eating layer and drinking on her own. I'm no vet and I can't spend another $100.00 on a vet visit, but it's something to consider. Below is a link to the poop chart that led me to my conclusion, plus the extensive thread by BYC member Nambroth.

Thank you for posting this. There was some food that got a little wet from a rainstorm we had I got rid of it but maybe she ate some off the ground because she is a Polish she doesnt see very well and well, who knows, also someone left the lid off the food as well I skimmed all the wet stuff on top off and it appreared fine visually and felt dry. Anyway, I'm not sure what I should do. I have Tylan 50 injectable I could give her that for an anitbiotic, I also have some clavamox I could put in her water. What do you think. I am at a loss. The vet charged me $70 just to test for parasites so I cant imagine the cost for an exam and blood tests. I will give her some electrolytes and some clavamox I think. Wouldn't Cocci show in the test, isnt Cocci a parasite? They said she tested negative for worms and parasites.

Yes, Cocci should have shown up, but you could call and verify they tested for it. My vet just looked at a sample under a microscope. I'm not too knowledgable with antibiotics, but personally I would start with the clavamox since it's oral. Definitely syringe feed her it though to make sure she takes it.

Do you have have Clavamox pills or liquid? Did the vet you just saw give you the Clavamox? If not, if whay you have is the liquid, it's probably expired (it has a very short shelf life). Would be best to give it orally twice a day, not in water. Negative fecals don't meant anything, they just mean that nothing was seen in *that* sample. False negatives are common.
