wattle suddenly gone cyanotic, but comb fine. Is this fowl cholera?

temps have been about 5C/40F overnight, 10/50 today. I'm sure now it's not mud/muck. His appetite is still good.
this is him now - yesterday both comb and wattle were bright red and he looked a picture of health! I cannot believe how fast this is changing colour

Shadows are still too dark to see it decently.
Can you gather him up and take some photos in good lighting.

wish me luck 🤪 this may take a while...
If he's able to outrun you, then he's not too poorly.
You may have to wait until he's roosting to grab him.

Ooo I think one of my poor Roos has either cholera or frostbite.... following to see if I can find anything to help...
Do you have a thread about your rooster? Where is it?

not a chance of catching him, but managed to get this; good enough?

If not, the sun is setting here soon so I'll try again once he's gone to roost

no respiratory issues at all that I can see or hear, but somebody is producing green poop

Do you normally see green poop like that?
What do they eat?

Since it's going to be dark for you soon, can you grab that rooster and cage him, maybe put him on puppy pads, paper towels, newspaper - something where you can get a good look at his poop?

Also when you get him settled, check his crop - it really should be full for the night, then check again, it should be empty/flat in the morning before he eats/drinks.
