    What are "wattles", on a chicken, or chick??? Thanks!

    Wattles are the red flattish fleshy things that hang down from the sides of the face


    You can see Speckle-Roo's fabulous wattles here. Hens get them too!

    They're called WATTLES - and they hang from the side or under the beak.
