you might be able to try it again in about a week or two and just see, sometimes it's enough to change the flock Dynamics enough that the bullied hen will build more confidence...and sometimes after they become more confident they stop being a weak link and stop getting bullied.
but unfortunately you may end up having to keep him locked up until he goes into eclipse molt. That is usually when they calm down.

Don't know what ecipse molt is but alright. We were thinking about aa week or so anyway.

Oh yeah. Since Yours is a pekin you won't be able to tell the difference, unless you notice when he loses his wing feathers.

He is a pekin mix. He looks like an oreo coloring wise. Mostly black with a white breast, front of the neck, and face with only a little single white feather on the wing. We believe him to be aa mix of another kinda duck we used to have.

Try in a week but like shaw said it may be longer some have their drakes locked in drake jail most of breeding season and let them have supervised time with the girls.. I start to see craziness settling around end of August into Sept. So hopefully it will be the same for yours. That's so awesome your already seeing her getting back with her family and enjoying life again.
