We all do it... ....or maybe just a few

Great idea!!! I also read on here several months back where the lady said her mom would throw some onions on the stove in a skillet if she didn't have supper started, but when her dad walked in and smelled those cookin' onions, he was all happy because he thought supper was cookin. Would have been grumpy if it wasn't. . .

No, we don't all do it. It has never occurred to me -- just don't have the interest.

Nope, I go to visit, not to snoop. We all have clutter and dust at times. What you see, is what you get at my house. There is a thread, "let's talk about manners."

I think some of yall are taking this post the wrong way!

Im not talking about snooping around someones house!!
Im just wondering what yall look at to see how people keep their houses...
Im not talking about lets look through the mail sitting on the coffee table while they are getting me a drink! That is RUDE!

Im talking more along the lines of the cobwebs in the corner of the ceilings!
(which by the way I do have! lol)

I just dont really look at how other people keep their houses. In fact I go out of my way NOT to. If I go someplace, I go to see THEM and care little about their housekeeping skills.

I don't really look at it...only because I don't see it in my own house (not OCD in the least bit) so I don't pay attention to it at other people's houses. I do however become super aware of my own dirty or not finished parts of my house when someones drops in unannounced.

You wouldn't have to go out of your way around here, the shower curtain usually stays open

My house is, messy, because everything does NOT have a place

I'm constantly trying to solve this problem - which usually involves buying stuff like shelves or storage boxes, and especially buying tools - so now my TOOLS are all over the house

I love tools! I want a $80 metal toolbox to put them in . . . but that's not in the budget anytime soon.

Oh just to add, the cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling are ALLOWED to stay in my house due to the fly problem (which was a problem long before we got chickens) so, uh, please ignore them
