I had put peahen eggs in from our peahens but I am guessing that because they were not layed in the nest that they aren't fertile because you can see threw them and they would have been do today suppose the peahens know if they are fertile.
So far 1 baby turkey born at 26 past 12 noon time, there is 3 other eggs that look like they have something in it I hope at least 1 more hatch the baby turkey is lonely! Right now it has a beanie baby chick (tiny one) in there so I will give them a few extra days. Told my husband if no more hatch this may be a house turkey waring a diaper lol.
I have had guineas before but the foxes end up getting them this time I am trying to make these more friendly my last one was gotten back in April/may. When the fox looks for easy food for their cubs and the guineas I had weren't smart enough to go into the coop before dark (and they say turkeys are dumb...lol). Yes I notice a lot more ticks since my last gueniea got eaten so looking for to them growing up.
Good luck with your new batch of eggs. Look forward to your posts. I'm going to see if I can figure out how to post a picture
