17 out of 30 are hatched (one died). 6 of the 14 remaining are pipped.
OH GOD YES, Bad reviews on those incubators. YEK... What are your readings at right now? Still or AIR?
Today is hatch day for us. We have 29 Black Copper Maran eggs in a crappy farm innovator incubator. I'm a nervous wreck! I have only hatched guinea fowl before. Of course the settings on the bator are completely useless so I have other thermometers in there. My humidity has been inconsistent through the entire incubation period. Tonight at 10pm will be 21 days. I saw 7 different eggs rocking two days ago. Yesterday I only saw a couple. Today I have seen 2 move but no pips yet. I really hope I get some of these little guys!

hmm, I have a FI 4200 and I don't have issues with having to watch it constantly and adjust. This is my first hatch but I am happy with it so far. Doing the dry method do I just allow my humidity to fluctuate with the humidity in my home and I stay between 26 and 35. I read as long as it stays between 25-45 humidity the first 18 days all should be good. Today is day 18 for my batch so I guess we will see. Hope your hatch goes well.
Thanks A roo or two. Tonight at 10 pm central time will be exactly 21 days. I just got my first pip an hour ago. I tried to keep it around 45 for the first 18 days. There were nights when it dropped to 20 but never below. Constantly having to add water and then open vents etc to keep it around 45. Then I added a lot more water for lock down. Had a steady 65 all day today and then right about the same time as the pip I noticed the humidity had dropped to 60. I'm hoping someone pops out and cranks it up soon. Good luck to you and your hatch as well.

Not really when you consider the lower humidity is when the eggs are first set, and I am dry hatching. As the chicks have developed the humidity has slowly naturally gone up on its own and also been affected by the humidity in the house. On an average day it only fluctuated 2, maybe 3%. The 26-35 is just the range it has fluctuated in 18 days. Living in Florida and having high humidity pretty much all the time (in Feb we have already had 100% humidity days) I let it ride out the fluctuations as it would if a broody was sitting on them outside.Wow that's a big flexuation but yeh you should be ok..
