We got our first egg today!

I can't believe how exciting it was to find that little brown egg! Right on time - they are 22 weeks on Monday. I don't know who did it but can't wait until the others follow suit!

Hi,we are really jealous,our 4 girls are about 26 weeks and havent laid yet.

The black leghorn(Hilda) has a nice comb which is getting bigger and redder

The Black Rock (Denise) is the same

The Welsummer(Carole) is not some advanced

And lastly Brenda our hybrid layer apart from getting heavier her comb hasnt altered at all.

Having said that it is colder now and the days shorter so I guess we will just have to wait.
