We got our first egg!

My WLH's will be 19 weeks on Monday. We got our first egg today. How exciting!

It's small but absolutely perfect. I had put a golf ball in their nest in their chicken tractor and had let them out yesterday mid-morning. We found it about 2:00 p.m. and so proud of her for going back to the tractor, which they rarely do after letting them out, and laid in the nest. What a good girl!

We already have egg #2! I promise I won't keep doing this- it's just so exciting!

Woohoo! Congratulations!! We know the feeling. We got our first on Thursday and as of 15 min ago we are on egg #4. The excitement still hasn't worn off yet.
