We had to play "TAPS" tonight .....

It was a sad moment....here is what happened:

I opened the door to let little taco bell beast outside and two moths zoomed inside and headed straight for the heat lamp. Well I startled them and they dropped down into the brooder.

In less than 15 seconds it was over. Lilly (Lt. Brahma) and Molly (BA) had one tugging on it. Speckles (SLW) had the other one and was running around squawking to the heavens. Then suddenly, it was over.

My daughter played Taps for the moths.

My 6 week old moth killers...I am soooooo PROUD.

I think it is sooo cute when they discover bugs!!! It is such a treat for them!! And man are they good at it!!
my girls are a year old now and I still love watching them slurp up the worms out back!! I have babies in the brooder, but they are only a week, but they will get some treats when the time is right!!!
