Active duty for four years, reserves for four. My MOS ( Job field) Isnt official yet but ive got a few picked out, and at the top of that list is combat photography. Ive already had to rehome over 50 of my birds and 5 rabbits. I have two rabbits left that mom will take care of and my geese and scovies free range and just need their feed buckets filled daily so mom said she would do that at least.

Today my geese decided they would hang around the glass side door and bother the dogs to death, lol. Lucy, my female likes to sit right by the door while my little mini schnauzer attacks the door. She sits there with BOTH her boys right behind her and when they think my pup is being too rowdy they start at the door as well

little snots.

God be with you, Goat Walker! I did my 30 in the AF and fulltime TXANG. Retired with all the boxtops from a career in aircraft maintenance in 2003. Worked very closely with the Marines for many years, shared our shop and engine test cell, as a matter of fact. It was an honor, especially when a few decided to defect to my shop. On a Goose note - I think Lucy is Laying!!!! Both my ganders have been extra protective lately and she has a saggy bum!!! YAY!!!

Haha! I've rasied many a duck, but my very first goslings are being shipped from Metzers March 14th. This very funny thread gave me more answers to my questions about goose behavior than I think I needed.

And I'm still excited.
