We have joined Pony Club!!!!

I joined Pony Club when I was 7 and was a member until I aged out at 18 or 19. It's by far one of the best ways to learn safety and responsibility around horses, not to mention it's an unbelievable amount of fun! My club offered tons of opportunities to attend clinics with many different trainers and even got to compete on my region's show jumping team at national championships. The learning will be invaluable, I apply things I learned on a daily basis with my horses and she'll likely make friendships that last a lifetime. I still keep in touch with several of my old pony club friends.

Congratulations, she's going to have so much fun!

Yes, Pony Club is a great great way to learn safe riding and handling, and there is a big emphasis on the kids doing things for themselves and learning to be self sufficient too. Kids often get very close, long term friends in Pony Club.

Why...some people even get married to someone they met at Pony Club!

Pony club rocks... Where I am there is adult pony club... We ride Haflingers/small drafts... hehe.

You're right. Since the last time I noticed, the age was raised.

Anyone can JOIN pony club but the children who participate in the program have to be under 25.
