Tamsflock, I think 6 of your 7 wellies are developing. One didn't make it I know for sure. Hows everything your way?

UPDATE: My 5 new little runts are looking better & doing fine. Still nope on the other 2. No pipps or anything. I'm not giving up on them though, not yet. I just can't see them not making it too. I turned and rotated positions everyday so they would all have even heat. I 'm pretty sure they were still kicking on day 17. Hummm.. Who knows? Still not giving up hope!

congrats on your new babies. can't wait till this weekend. my baby chicks are going to hatch hopefully. first time incubating.

All five babies sound asleep in their brooder. I'm still hoping & praying for the other 2 eggs to pip.

UPDATE: Okay, I'm done . The last 2 eggs look like they never developed all the way . They both started asorbing the yolk but never finished. Both were dead when I opened them. So out of the original 8 eggs I got 5 cute little fluffy butt chicks. 2nd set due to hatch on the 29th of May.

Also for all of you that have heard me speak of my father, you should of seen the look on his face when I told him it actually worked & that we had 5 new chicks ! (He had his doubts about my incubators actually working .) I did the hatching at home so he has yet to see them. As soon as we get our new brooder room built we will be moving them to his place. He just told me today that he wants us to build one. He wants it to be 8x8 so it has plenty of room for the bators & brooders. So I guess I know what I'll be doing for a while.
