we ordered from ideal

whats the minimum i can order from ideal? I only want about 6 or 7.

I just called mine and let them know that they would be arriving tomorrow or Friday. From the conversation I had with our Postmaster, I don't think they would have called me. He took my name and number and said he would call me when they got there. He said that I could either come pick them up or the mailman could bring them. I told him no, our mailman doesn't deliver until lunch time and that I would come and pick them up.

Palabeco, their minimum order is $25.00. with shipping. That comes to about 8 chicks, if you get pullets.

The post office is supposed to call you. We do recommend you letting them know that you are expecting live animals and remind them to call you first thing when they come in.

I ordered from Ideal last week with shipping set for April 9th. I just got a nice email from Teri at Ideal telling me I should let them know if I don't want the extra roos....guess Teri's been reading the posts.
I order 12 brahma pullets (4 each: light, dark, buff) and a buff brahma roo. Plus 2 other chicks for a BYC friend.
Right now I am in complete shock! My SO just told me to call them back and order MORE

to make the total of my order 25 chicks.
