We Quit Cigarettes

Yep. Online is a "no" in my book, too.
Give me face-to-face conversation and real looks at the person. And plenty of time with them -- several years. Then I'll decide what I think.
It's not like that, really. These days people don't have the opportunities to meet that we once did. Most people don't even know their neighbors. Often, not even well enough to feel the need to nod or wave.

You connect with someone online and agree to meet in some neutral, public place. Then if you want to, see one another again, maybe go to a game or a movie or whatever you like doing, and get to know one another better. The only thing the internet part is useful for is an introduction to someone you would otherwise be unlikely to meet. Long distance probably isn't worth pursuing, but it's a good way to meet people who live nearby.

I have a neighbor that met his current wife over the Internet.

I don't have to worry about meeting anyone because I stay home almost all of the time.

While you stay home and are safe from females there, you do have an internet presence, and that maybe where a wily female finds, enticed and attacks you...

Help? Uh, I guess.
What swipe app?

So here's the thing. This sounds lame but I am intensely against the internet dating thing. Anyone can pretend to be anyone they want on the internet. It has to be organic for me if that makes any sense. I've been making it a point to talk to people more in Tractor supply and such but that only goes so far. Lots of stuff here is still closed, such as parks and the places I take my kids or spend time at. My school is going to remain online this Fall, also. I better brush up on my pickup lines I guess. Heh.
I was joking but isn't there some dating crap where you swipe right for no and left for yes.
I'm glad to hear you thing that stuff is nuts...it is.
