I tried long long ago.....was a bitch.Have you ever made homemade torillas?
I suck at rolling them out thin enough.
My husband's family has a history of heart attacks so I was on his butt instantly when we started dating. He was so interested in vegan and how I do it. I swear he's slowly changing over to being vegetarian. Some days he says to just cook a vegan meal for everyone.
That's progress!I'm still doing ok.
I keep telling myself I'm ok.
It's working.
I have only cried once this morning.
I just placed a hold on it.How is @Kiki today? Any let-up on symptoms??
The game-changer for me was the book Let Food Be Your Medicine, it is by a christian doctor but now i am actually underweight and have trouble gaining! It changed my whole mindset on a lot of processed foods, sugars, etc and I read it in like a day because it was so interesting.
I wish I could get my MIL to change her eating habits, how do you even do that lol
I eat nothing that comes from an animal. I have meat allergies and dairy gives me hives. Eggs are a hit or miss, but I just don't eat them.So by being vegan does that mean no eggs? Or are eggs an exception?
I love the online library access......do you have statewide sharing?I just placed a hold on it.
Go do a search for food documentaries on Netflix....there are some good ones.I read a lot of health book. The China Study is one that changed my life. I also watched a lot of documentaries, but I forgot the names. They basically showed what happens when you eat certain things and also where our food comes from.
We live near a Tyson chicken farm... The day I saw a chicken truck 7 years ago is when I went vegan or plant based. It was a slow process, but seeing how nasty those birds looked made me never want to eat meat again.
You can be vegetarian and eat dairy and eggs. There's a lot of different diets out there. I can't even begin to name them allSo by being vegan does that mean no eggs? Or are eggs an exception?
