We Quit Cigarettes

That's why I make huge portions and put the leftovers in the fridge then when I'm starving I can just make it quickly. I ALWAYS have steamed rice made in the fridge and some type of veggie. That way when I get hangry because I forgot to eat, I can eat something healthy.

Hmmm that’s true. I should probably just make bigger portions but I need to make the time. I’m so slow it would take me all dang day. :lau I guess I could finally use the Instapot though haha

This ! carbs go to sugar, your body says kick in the insulin and then "I'm hungry. Eat more."

Probably why when I eat bread or lots of carbs or sugar I don’t get full and/or just get hungry again shortly after yet when I eat protein I could be full all day. Like I’m still really full from my omelette at least a few hours ago. But then again it was 4 egg with sausage, spinach, and cheese but still.

Having chickens has transformed my eating habits. I’m still hardly where I would like to be, but the amount of chicken and things made with chicken broth I’ve consumed since keeping chickens is changing my taste buds to where processed food doesn’t taste like it used to.

chocolate and sugar still tastes fine though.:th

Hope you’re doing well Kiki.... the first three days is a big hurdle right??

I wish I could do meat chickens or meat anything but my family is put off by it.

I can barely handle anything processed. My husband tried a ding dong not that long ago and he spit it out in the trash because he said he didn't remember them ever tasting that bad 😂 I laughed so hard.

My youngest was eating Velveeta macaroni and cheese one day at my parents' house. He didn't finish all of it so my father decided that he was going to eat the rest of it... He spit it down the garbage disposal and he said he had never tasted something so nasty in his life 😂

:lau OMG

Have you ever made homemade torillas?
I suck at rolling them out thin enough.

I did make the egg, mushroom and red bell pepper taco.

No but I bet it’s a ton of work and time hahah I can see why you don’t.

My husband's family has a history of heart attacks so I was on his butt instantly when we started dating. He was so interested in vegan and how I do it. I swear he's slowly changing over to being vegetarian. Some days he says to just cook a vegan meal for everyone.

Yeah, why do you cook two meals!? Vegetarian or vegan food occasionally won’t hurt them lol you could even do it most of the time and then just do meat a couple times a week. Or make a vegan meal and just cook some meat on the side if they want it that bad instead of two totally separate meals. Tons more work for you.

Oh I’m all too familiar with the countless diets. My husband loves chicken and meat too much for me to only cook vegetarian 😕And I can’t cook two dinners.

You could compromise and cook a vegetarian meal once or twice a week or something like that. They actually say it’s good for your health to do that.
