We Quit Cigarettes

I stopped smoking almost 20 years ago. It is tough but if you don't quit then it will control your life.
I used the nicotine patch and I continued to smoke for a little bit. I scheduled my cigarettes (about 10 while I started the patch) and every other day reduced by 1 cig and adjusted schedule. Then I began to schedule my first smoke later and later.
I'll never forget the day about 2 years after I quit. I just walked away from a conversation with someone and realized they were smoking and I didn't feel like I wanted one. Now I can smell if someone is smoking 3 cars away with the windows up.

Do any of you smokers wake up during the night to smoke?

🙄
Not necessarily during the night but when extremely stressed and can’t sleep I’ve been known to wake up and stay up in wee hours of the morning!

Nope, have wanted to a few times, but I sleep pretty good.

It also just clicked how hard it could be for others to kick an addiction.
Why haven't they invented a pill to stop the whatever?
As you know the pill can help but it's only part of it ;)

Maybe you can learn 😁 it'll keep you distracted
I should have said kill them for me.
I can butcher one easily.
I just can't off the dummies yet.

:wee

I'm home.
I got stuck in a rut there for an hour or so.

I'm going to go beg the Mex to butcher some quail for me.
I been begging to get that done for weeks....since you call yours the mex, can I call mine the asshole or is that not byc appropriate? (He will agree that he’s perfect...perfect asshole, perfect jerk etc etc haha haha).

This pill is working, for sure...I meant another pill.

It's allowed unless a complainer complains.
