Well, it's another one of those nights that sleep just will not come! I'm so proud for you Kiki. You are amazingAll you others are too! But Kiki had the balls to start this thread for all of us. That first night without my drugs I found this. I couldn't sleep, I was a pitiful sight.
So I started reading, it really has helped with all I'm going through. You all just don't have any idea what a HUGE help you've been to me. I'll be forever grateful for all of you I have been a real girl dog lately. I apologize for my behavior. I'm sorry to say it's not getting better. I've ordered some essential oils that may help. I will be getting them tomorrow. I'll let you know if they help. I'm going to make a pot of coffee. If I can't sleep, I need a boost for energy. I've been neglecting all of my critters a bit. I'll be watching for someone to get back on here. I'll be thinking of you all. Especially you Shannon. Let us know if you think you aced it. We all need something to celebrate

I'd never keep chickens with ducks. Ducks are disgusting. They get water everywhere, foul ALL water sources, spill food all over, and need their own space. That's my experience, anyhow. I have two coops. One for chickens, one for ducks. The chicken coop has food and water, the duck coop does not. The chicken coop is dry, and odorless, the duck coop is smelly, and wet, even with regular cleanings, and fresh straw added.
To be clear, I adore my ducks, but I segregate my birds.

I don't ever put food or water in my coops so maybe that's why I don't get a mess in mine keeping them together. My ducks hate using the water cups so those stay clean for the chickens and the ducks get their 3 buckets of water and pool. All my water sources are far from the coop.

The ducks have their own coop but Squatch invited them in the big coop we built. The ducks hang out with him all day long.

The only duck I have that's pretty clean is my muscovy.

Yep. I'm a night person. Always have been. I check off and on to see if anyone is up.

I've only had chickens for two years. I'm thinking about getting some chicks. But then I would worry about adding them to the others. I've never known anyone with ducks. Can you eat their eggs?I could build them a coop of their own.

My Aunt and Uncle used duck eggs in all of their baking. I never noticed a bad cake.

You know, I'll have to go back and look. I haven't been counting! It seems like forever‼ I'm still sweating and mad at the world‼ I may be a little better today. At least I feel like talking. Maybe I can get through the day without being mean to anyone! I'm usually not a mean person, this is pure hell‼‼I'm glad you are doing good! How long for you? I see your on day 4! That's great!!!
