We Quit Cigarettes

Sounds like you have a good heart. I would like to hatch some, but I had to shoot my rooster. He attacked me several times! The people here helped me know how to handle him.View attachment 2049646View attachment 2049646View attachment 2049649
Holy Smokes! He really beat you up! I'd have done the same. I have one that gets a little above himself occasionally. He's a Buckeye though, and I want him to make little rose combed babies, so I've put up with him so far. I don't like seeing frost-bitten combs. It just hurts to look at the poor things. We'll have to see what happens...

Grew garlic for ~12 years. this its the first year without it.

Sometimes they get very light and I was told once...
...."amazing eyes, like children of the corn".

First time took 30 or more minutes to stop shaking after kill,
they still shake.
Mine didn't shake a lot at all. The last one the big boy is the one who ran with his head off 🙈 I was horrified for a bit. Watching my husband run after him with his head in his hand was the part I wish I got a picture of. It was ridiculously horrifying, but would be a funny story to tell my grandkids later on.

yeah I don't know what I want to do yet I'm not even sure that I want to do quail. It is a lot of building to me because I would have to build cages for them. Then if I put money into cages what happens if I don't even like processing them.

It definitely was harder to process the Easter Egger and Orpington. The cross that I made for meat birds was Jersey Giant and barred rock... The body cavity was perfect for processing. I was very happy with how it came out.

My husband I bet is at working thinking about eating it tonight 😂 he called this chicken Rotisserie since the day he saw it.

He helped his aunt process old laying chickens that weren't laying anymore when he was a child, he said that they were really rubbery and blah but he ate it anyways because if he complained he wouldn't have been able to eat. There were no complaints at the dinner table when he was a child... Basically what they did was process them and eat them instantly so they were really tough and rubbery, I'm sure you can imagine 🤮. He's probably is quite nervous that our chickens will be that way too, but they have been resting in the fridge since Sunday.

I would get some sleep if possible.

When you're detoxing off so much at once it can take a real toll on your body. Best thing to do is relax and not do too much so your body isn't overworking itself. It's already working overtime with you detoxing.

Do you have any green tea? It can help detox you a bit more plus it has lots of goods for your body in it. Lots of fruits and veggies will help too.

You're in my thoughts. Stay tough!
Yes I'm drinking that and I put lemon in my water. Now I'm using essential oils too.

I skin mine but my husband likes the skin crispy. I fry, roast, or grill mine.
I think I am going to roast this one in the oven. The other two have rubs on them one is chipotle bacon and the other is Montreal chicken.

You should get a vacuum sealer and put rubs on your meat then seal them. It makes them delicious. You can also just do pepper or salt then seal them.

Those should all help you. Detoxing really sucks when it's from drugs 😫 you'll make it through it, you're strong enough.

I will tell you everything a friend I love dearly was on and he detoxed, it was truly hard to watch but I was there every step of the way... Heroin, methadone, cocaine, pills (any kind he could get), and alcohol. When he met me he wanted to stop and reached out to me to help, I'm not sure why he thought I could but I did. He's 6 years sober and he remembers every moment now. He cried on his last vacation because he remembered it... He never remembered them before he can't even tell you where he vacationed 6 years ago.

He has a wife and two kids now 😍

I'm going to get one. I could do that with the steaks and pork chops. Oh! My mouth is watering now. That sounds so good. I'm going to look for one of those.
I ordered a size bigger jeans from Amazon last night.

To make room for your tasty meat 😁

My husband and my dad after they eat a lot of meat they say they have the "Meat Sweats" 😂

We do it with pork chops, steak, chicken, shrimp, fish, and whatever else we get. Listen to me... Sounds like I eat it but I'm only the prepper and cook 👩🏻‍🍳
