We Quit Cigarettes

Those should all help you. Detoxing really sucks when it's from drugs 😫 you'll make it through it, you're strong enough.

I will tell you everything a friend I love dearly was on and he detoxed, it was truly hard to watch but I was there every step of the way... Heroin, methadone, cocaine, pills (any kind he could get), and alcohol. When he met me he wanted to stop and reached out to me to help, I'm not sure why he thought I could but I did. He's 6 years sober and he remembers every moment now. He cried on his last vacation because he remembered it... He never remembered them before he can't even tell you where he vacationed 6 years ago.

He has a wife and two kids now 😍
I've never done drugs like that. But I was on so much medication and I drank every day. A lot! That's what I'm missing the most. And the Adderall! I can't function without that. My doctor will not write any more scrips for me, my head doctor is going to be pissed. He knows everything about me. He knows all about the bipolar and ADHD. I was completely honest with him about everything .

To make room for your tasty meat 😁

My husband and my dad after they eat a lot of meat they say they have the "Meat Sweats" 😂

We do it with pork chops, steak, chicken, shrimp, fish, and whatever else we get. Listen to me... Sounds like I eat it but I'm only the prepper and cook 👩🏻‍🍳
I could not do that. You are a strong woman! I admire you for that, and I know your family does to!👍🏻🌹

Bipolar can be a bumpy ride without the correct meds especially for those around you. Hopefully they understand what you're going through. I can't imagine the emotions and mental stuff you're going through right now.

Good morning.🌞🌅💊🍺🍸🍷🍾👿😡😰😭‼ I'm still free of these things‼‼ And something else is going on ya'll. I'm seeing things that aren't' real. I don't know if it's from lack of sleep or another damn symptom? Does anyone know?
You can sometimes suffer hallucinations when withdrawing from alcohol--maybe from other drugs as well. I wouldn't be at all surprised. At least you recognize them for what they are. Some people believe them to be real.

All these substances are poisons that alter the functions of our bodies--all of them. That's why they work. It's also why people take them recreationally. Those that alter our perception of reality slightly can sometimes alter it drastically in larger amounts. They're processed through the liver and kidneys and there's only so much work these organs can get through in a day. As the extra poisons your body has been socking away in fat cells and wherever else it puts things to process later, come out, they will often cause the kinds of symptoms you've been experiencing, including hallucinations.

I'm no chemical dependency expert, but the way I understand it, many of these drugs also take the place of your body's normal means of making you feel good (such as producing dopamine). When you stop, it can take some time for your body to tool up and get back into production. Parkinsons disease can sometimes come with hallucinations--maybe because of the lack of dopamine? I'm guessing there, but the point is--drugs including alcohol poison you. When you're taking them, your liver and kidneys are up to their little ears in work so a lot of those chemicals get stored. They're coming out now and being dealt with.

Drink lots of water. Get some gentle exercise in, and some sunshine on your skin if you can stand it. (You may be photophobic, so be careful with that until your system is fully clean.) Stay away from junk food and sugar. Your system has enough to deal with. Drink lots of water. Then drink some more. Don't make yourself uncomfortable, but do stay well hydrated. Eat light, nutritious foods... things that are easy on your digestive system. Stay away from sugary stuff. Probably best to avoid overdoing it with coffee, too.

You are doing phenomenally. I almost can't believe how well you're doing. You've taken on an incredibly difficult task and you are DOING it. I can't possibly express to you the depth of my admiration. Keep it up. You're gonna be the old hat gal next time, helping someone else out of the pit and into the freedom of a clean body and a clear mind. ❤️❤️❤️

I think my husband about 💩 himself when he saw me processing the chickens. He took pictures of the whole process and showed all the guys at his work, all of them were amazed and jealous. Most of them said that they wouldn't be able to do it and they would rather buy meat at the store 🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband's family has all passed away from heart attacks so we try to limit the fatty and other stuff from our eating. I eat completely different than him, but he loves eating my stuff as sides.

Last night I made hasselback potatoes and cauliflower so he had that with pork chops and cheesy rice.
What are hasselback potatoes?
