I'll have to look for some--I've only ever bought the fake stuff. Maybe I'll find the farm store kind works better for me.

Even I have some in the cupboard. I tend to use New Skin for the small nicks.

Good idea. I've been using a paraffin bath I can't get DH to use for his arthritic fingers. It's a decent moisturizer and it does stop them hurting, but it seems to take so long for them to heal. I'm gonna have to stop forgetting my gloves. Duh...

I have had to deal with this before. Please, don't expect him to change. I wish I had something uplifting to say but my mind is a blank right now. I've been there before. Now I live alone with my kids. And a puppy.... being alone is okay, not too bad. I miss having someone besides picky toddlers to cook for though!!!
The improvements I have made to my life are enormous. I still miss the old way of living sometimes, but life moves us forward.

Ya'll know what? I am going to take another Benadryl. I need more sleep. But, no seeing That wasn't there today. Thank goodness. I was very scared. Never happened before. Hopefully never again. I will get my sleep from now on. No matter what. I don"t think you can get addicted to Benadryl, can you?

Benadryl is not an addicting substance. It's not unusual for folks our age to take it routinely for sleep and it's a heckuva lot less harmful than other sleep meds your doctor may prescribe.

@Sapphire Sebright I made it through the day without smoking! Dog is settling in well, and I drugged my kids (benadryl for legit snot nose) and they are both happily passed out.

I got some homework done and have heard that after next Tuesday my school is moving stuff to online classes.... but just for the rest of the month or something? I wasnt too clear on that. Anyhow, I heard it through the local news, also one instructor emailed us.... but the school hasn't made an announcement yet because they probably don't have their shit together yet....

I should probably push myself a little harder on homework tonight. I accomplished my homework goal, but there is just soooo much of it.

And, I haven't finished catching up here yet, so will do that now!! Everyone just shut up for a few minutes so I can get that done..... lol!! Kidding, of course.

Well, except for this:

I don't have very many pictures on my computer -- this shot and the broody shot of Najika are the only ones I have to work with... and they're cropped (heh, pun) for an avatar. I'll move some pictures onto my computer over the weekend. Then you'll get some motivational pictures with a different glaring face. Or maybe the same face, but a different angle. Najika is the sternest-looking hen I have. Really. Su is excellent at looking just... sarcastic. So is Yotsuba. All my ISAs are good at looking sarcastic and so done with the world, actually, but Najika's the angry-looking one.
She looks like a rooster. And her spurs are a half-inch long and very pointy... she's suffered a broken toe and a broken ankle, but both healed perfectly fine -- her ankle has a noticeable lump, and her toe now seems to have a ellipsodal joint where it broke -- and she went broody twice in three or four months last spring.
Somehow, she isn't the top hen in the pecking order. That's Su, the one who would be wearing glasses and constantly making snarky remarks if she were human.
Yeah, my beak is totally sealed! Can you tell?
