Don't be. Nothing to be sorry for! Screen names often don't give much of a clue as to gender and most of don't post pics of ourselves (yours is very lovely, btw), so it's hard to tell.

A bit of esoteric knowledge that has helped me: if you want a particular person to see your post, you can "tag" them. Start with the @ symbol and right after that (no space) begin typing their screen name. A list of people whose names start with the letters you've typed so far will pop up, so usually all you have to remember are the first 3-4 letters, then when you see the person you want, in the pop-up, click or tap on them. That will insert a tag and the person you have tagged will get a notification to come and look.

I do live in the country though. No houses close at all. So wouldn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. Unless Inhad to shoot another one. They might hear a gun shotLol

I get a break from one of the kids for a couple of days every week. I keep the little guy all the time though, unless I am in class. I don't really have any family here, had a couple of friends who were willing to help on occasion but they have both moved out of the area.

I have never had any problems with a mean rooster. Of course I never raise them as pets. None of my poultry are pets.

I for one am proud of you. Give the crabby kid a boobie or toy or whatever and give yourself some time to relax, you earned it.

One of them is going to get some boobie shortly, the other one wants to watch YouTube videos on my phone before he passes out.

Am i the only one who is waiting on a couple of hens to go broody ? I want to hatch again this year. I do not do bators, only broodys

The farm (I don't live there anymore) has the exact opposite problem. I gather and bring home every egg I can find, can't have them multiplying the way they did last year. They are brooding machines and there are way too many of the things.
