Well, that might not be too bad. Everyone is saying, replace a bad habit with a good one.

I currently have 140 eggs in the incubator in the dining room.

I have never had any problems with a mean rooster. Of course I never raise them as pets. None of my poultry are pets.

You don't know what you are missing! They can be so sweet.

The farm (I don't live there anymore) has the exact opposite problem. I gather and bring home every egg I can find, can't have them multiplying the way they did last year. They are brooding machines and there are way too many of the things.

I honestly don't know. They run totally wild and have separate flocks all over the property.

I made it through the day without smoking again. I can't wait for this day to be over. Sick kids wearing on me, cold and windy and cloudy out today so I've kept them inside. They are starting to drive me bonkers, and one of them is super crabby to boot.

Lots of homework tonight.

I'm a big fan of melitonin, for kiddos especially. Ya can't OD and we've never seen or heard of bad/drowsy next morning stuff ever.

Duh? I should have known that one. I've never hatched a chick. I would love to though. But that's not possible. No rooster ‼

I don't have a rooster either, But i know someone who i can buy fertilized eggs from if I have a broody hen.
