We Quit Cigarettes

This is beautiful, restored my faith in humanity a tad bit.
FYI, if you're ever forced into a cell phone aka :💩 whistle keep it in airplane mode with everything muted.
It lets you appear to be "normal"
Not having one akin to having six legs and an underbite, and not wanting seems to offend folks to the core.
You are beyond rare.
It's not going to happen. I hate phones. Why would I want one that I would have to carry with me? There is also the issue that if I did have one, I would probably put it down somewhere and never be able to find it again.

Some folks get concerned about me being unable to call for help if I have an accident on the roads, but other than that, I don't think I have ever elicited a negative reaction by telling somebody that I don't have a cell phone. :idunno

That would blow my mind.
If you begin the seemingly normal statement "I do not own"and end it with "a cellphone" you get nothing but negative reactions in this region.
Iv'e seen people physically move away as if being without is a contagious disease

I could understand a reaction of surprise if you abstained completely from all forms of computer-like devices and means of access to the Internet, but seeing as you are on BYC, that is clearly not the case.

Oh I was strong armed into having one shortly before I joined BYC.
I use it as a computer, camera and doodle pad rarely a remote or flashlight.
I refuse to use the telephone feature, no social media either.
My toe dipping isn't enough to be stigma free.
