I am running on no insurance. Between Obama (don't) care and getting so sick I could not work.....

Anyway....
Find a lab that draws your blood and sends you (not the doctor) the results.

My full work up was about $150.

It is how we found hubs diabetes and subsequently mine. He went to the lab because it was less expensive than having the doctors office do the blood draw. No doctors orders needed either.

I have an account with Quest Diagnostics Lab.
They will let me order my own cash tests.

I asked them the last time I was there.

My doctor uses a different blood lab. I'm going to ask her if in the future she could send my blood to Quest.

I can't wait to see my bill for the boob squishing.
I'm sure it's going to be ridiculous too.
My insurance covered it at 100%...I want to see what they charged.

I like to think I am very helpful around the house and that is one item I have yet to charge my wife for.
