We Quit Cigarettes

Is there a gps feature on your fitbit Kiki?
Hold on.
Let me see if I can track myself, like I'm going on a walk, on the app.

When I try to sync it it's telling me device not found though so I don't think it's going to work.

It's tracking it...in my yard somewhere.
The blue dot is on my area but it's not specific enough.

@Kiki, congrats on making it through day 14!

I completely relate to this logic. I changed my avy for Kiki. She doesn't need it anymore, but I'll keep it for you. You … Can …. Do It!!!!

A nice motivational reward could be being less broke after you quit completely. :thumbsup

This is one of my big goals. I swear, I still work basically to pay for my smokes. I want to see if I can afford to quit working after I quit smoking!!

Now y'all have me thinking about quitting again :th My Doctor said he quit 12 or 13 times before it took, don't worry about backsliding, just keep moving forward.
I haven't counted how many times I have tried to quit. But I did add up how much money I spend a year and am too horrified to say how much. When I am finished with the carton I have (Yes, I buy by the carton), I may join you. I would like to be smoke free, and if I am successful, I will be a non smoker (like I was when I was 13). My addiction isn't to nicotine, I am addicted emotionally to the cigarettes. Long story, however that's my case.

I feel ya! It’s going to be weird to sit around and NOT reach for a cigarette.
Start quitting with me! Kiki has been a humongous inspiration for me!!

I wonder if I can audition for a Chantix commercial.

Do IT!! Check their website! :pop

Tomorrow is Day 1 of my Chantix. I’m giving myself 12 days to actually cut out the cigarettes, but I hope the Chantix makes me do it sooner.
For anyone that hasn’t tried Chantix lately, I was shocked to find that my insurance paid 100% of it. I didn’t have to pay a dime. So why not try it?! Years ago, my dentist wrote me a script for Wellbutrin. I had to pay part of it, but I don’t think I was ready then. It didn’t work. I hope I’m more ready now!! 40 years of smoking (minus my one pregnancy year off) is going to be rough. But I’m motivated. :fl

:yesss: I’m SO PROUD of all you guys!!!

:wee If anybody needs me to send them cinnamon toothpicks just let me know!

Cinnamon toothpicks, I need to find me some of those!!
Gum sticks to my fillings. I have found one awesome Camelbak water bottle that has a unique straw/spout on it that I really enjoy drinking from.... it helps with the smoking urge. Problem is, both toddlers like it just as much as I do. Sometimes we fight over it.

Day 3 is over, school load was light tonight and I am SOOO grateful to be able to get to bed at a decent hour tonight. Gotta be up pretty early in morning though.

I ate way too much this evening.
