We Quit Cigarettes

What have you been doing these last 17 days?
Did you start working?

No not yet but it’s only been like a week. I’ve still been applying a bunch but haven’t gotten anything yet. But still applying anyway. I’m sure I’ll get something soon. Also been trying to get my fish tanks planted and decorated finally and started seeds this week. Been working with the dogs a ton too.

Tick tock

I want to smoke today. I just woke up less than half an hour ago and I want to smoke.
Go feed your birds. See if they'll eat from your hands if you are patient enough.
I don't do gluten so I avoid all those delicious looking sugary baked goods. I don't eat the toddler's Cheetos or cookies. Try not to keep too much candy in the house.... this has been rather unsuccessful because of holidays and all the candy that tends to come with them when you have kids. I avoid Starbucks and the cafeteria at school like the plague. I'm getting fat on mostly healthy food, dammit. My latest fav is standing around in front of my row of peas in the garden snacking away like a bear or something
Kill one of those extra toms I'll bet you have hanging around causing trouble. Turkey doesn't count as calories unless you add junk carbs. Plus you can't conveniently smoke when your arm is halfway up a turkey's butt...

Do a plank instead of a pushup. It's easier.
Some people should NOT do planks. It's not that I can't do them. I can hold one for quite a long time. And the mirror says I'm doing them right. I was having SO much pain around my upper torso. The massage therapist told me to knock it off with planks or push-ups. I looked it up online, and it's a real thing. Women in particular tend to have this problem which is prolly why the girls weren't asked to do push-ups when I was in school.

Anyway, when I'd been feeling better for a few weeks I figured I'd try again. Nope. Bad idea. No planks for me. Be careful with planks, and if you DO start having problems, you'll know what to do about it. image.jpg
