We Quit Cigarettes

@CarpCharacin you might need to start a new thread if you want to continue to obsess over these assessments.
This thread is for quitting addictive behaviors. ;)
How can we help..... you start new and healthy habits?
I may start a new thread. There's nothing wrong with being interested in the assessments, the therapist I'm seeing doesn't think that I'm suffering from any kind of personality pathology.

The Mex has been using my bike to ride with the mini.
We need to get one more bike this year.
I ride a bike to go to work and do my shoppings.

No. Seriously, no. I'm not saying they can't be useful in the hands of a competent professional, but what we're doing here is recreational and TBH, we'd be better off taking a walk or a bike ride, looking at chickens or the stars, snow skiing, climbing a big rock... oh anything really, other than navel-gazing online--preferably outdoors in the sun.

I do agree in his case it’s become a bit of an obsession or whatever but most of the tests themselves were designed by professionals. So in that sense they are ā€œlegitā€ but like you said, most also are not designed to be taken recreationally and are designed to be taken and interpreted by a professional. Most of them even say that. That it’s just for education or fun and not a real diagnosis. So Carp is definitely worrying himself for nothing and needs to find a new hobby. And this is coming from someone who is constantly worrying and has been a bit of a hypochondriac myself on other things before. :lau :th
