We Quit Cigarettes

Post #7108 on iirc page 710 I posted a pic of my dinner.
For the beverage I - in hindsight - may have used poor choice of phrase?
I'm by nature not one to normally consume alcohol. So the phrase I used was 'mixed drink' as I listed all the ingredients in the "drink" as I do add water to stuff when doing concentrate or powders or my morning anti-inflammatory drink....

To be technical, at most I might have up to an equivalent of a 6 pack in any given year. For historical perspective, over the last decade we were a foster-to-adopt home and as such the rules regarding alcohol were super easy for us to live with given my previous history of such low usage.

Thoughts on editing or leaving as is and moving on?
Leave it and move on

Do what ever will make you sleep better.

Umm, I'm a guy, but at 78 low testosterone has tempered me somewhat - I still have the memories though. ;)

You spoke about pouring out the alcohol and becoming emotional. About 90 days into sobriety I woke up crying - WTF - I come from a family that doesn't cry. Called a friend who was helping me on my journey, and he said, "Stop and think. You just lost your best friend who you thought you could always count on, but it was all a lie." You poured one of yours down the sink. Once again I applaud you. :clap

Trust me in that it does get better. Yesterday outside the Amish market there was a group collecting donations for teen addiction. I stopped and talked to one of the kids when I made my donation. I shared my story, and he said, "Thanks you have no idea how much I needed that. I have only been clean for 49 days." Hope he makes it. :hugs
Thank you for telling me that story. You are a very special person. You have helped me several times. Do you remember the rooster that kept attacking me? And my old blind girl that got attacked by a possum? And when the other old blind girl was having a stroke or something? You have always been there in my time of need. I will forever be in debt to you. Thank you for being here now. I gues BYC is not all about chickens! It's about us chicken raisers too. .... I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place, " This is for arrt, Kiki, cascapony❓. Please see that they get it? And of course all of you here now! ‼️‼️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😘😘😘
