Long story short... At 22 I was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension and put on a permanent medication IV that can never be stopped. I was also told I had 6 months to live. I turned into an alcoholic and pill popper, it calmed my head. Quieted my sorrow for myself and made me seem happy to everyone else. I didn't want anyone to know.
I stopped all of it in 2014 when I went vegan or plant based. My Dr can't believe how far I've come. I still take paxil because I have severe depression and anxiety due to my health, but other than than I try to be positive about everything... It pisses a lot of people off.

Thank you for that. I know that you are understanding with both of them. I wish I had that support. Please believe that the child can't help it. Give him Meds for school or when he needs to focus. Then, let him do without them on weekends or whenever you get a chance. He needs a break from them as often as possible .My husband has both and he stopped all drug use and can manage on his own now it took him 40ish years to get here. He's been abusing his meds since he was 9... Long story. He does blow up some days and I used to cry like a baby. Now we just give each other space.
He doces a lot of breathing exercises and time outs. If he feels like he's going to flip a lid he walks away outside with his vape and calms down. Farming has really helped him too it diverts his energy elsewhere.
My youngest has been diagnosed with ADHD he's on a medication because he has outbursts because he gets so frustrated with himself.
