I have no idea, honestly. I drank coffee throughout my pregnancy and the entire time I nursed him. When he was born I was at the hospital, in labor, demanding coffee from the nurses...Doesn't the caffeine affect the milk drinker?

I drink my coffee when I get up in the morning...whenever that may be. So empty stomach.A) how hydrated are you when you drink it?
B) stomach empty? Just ate? Somewhere in between?
C) tried to drink that combo at any other time in the day? Say, maybe 20-30 minutes after a real lunch or dinner? To test out what your stomach does with the same mix at different times of the day?
I've got a hunch it's not the milk-item but, more time/biological issue.....
It may be one of the other ingredients in it, too.I drink my coffee when I get up in the morning...whenever that may be. So empty stomach.
Drink plenty of water typically...so that shouldn't be the issue.
I have tried it a few times actually.
I can't say I've tried it in coffee at other times of the day besides morning.
My daughter is lactose intolerant so when she stays with me I buy it for her. Of course she never uses it all while she's here and I hate to waste it so I always try to make myself use it. I've tried it in cereal, I've tried just drinking it. It tastes pretty good.
But I get a little nauseous every time.
Maybe it's just in my head I don't know.
yeah that could be too!! Some have carrageenan and other stuff that maybe causing problems. It may be one of the other ingredients in it, too.
I can’t really drink almond milk either. Think maybe it’s because it’s so processed or something? Cause almonds are fine. But maybe try one with limited ingredients. Or maybe try a different kind of fake milk? Have you ever had Silk? Cashew milk? Oat milk? There are a million different types these days and you may be able to tolerate one of the other kinds better than the almond milk. Oat milk is supposed to be particularly tasty and creamy.I drink my coffee when I get up in the morning...whenever that may be. So empty stomach.

That makes sense!! Much simpler to just say that cause there’s soooo many different types!!! Haha I forgot about rice and coconut too!! But yeah, I try to use unsweetened too when I’ve used it before unless I’m drinking it straight then I’ll get vanilla or something.I'm gonna clarify my previous post.
I used the words "almond milk" as a generic term for ease of ID. Truth is we use, rice, almond, coconut, cashew, or a mix of them from like 5 different brands. I have tried the oatmeal flavor but, that was because it was on sale.
Sometimes I get the. Chocolate flavor.
The overwhelming majority of the time I get specifically unsweetened versions. Whether it's silk, almond breeze, simple truth, Wally' 'good value' or what have you.
Sorry for the cornfuzzlement.

I agree 1000%!The term “milk” should only be used when liquid comes from a mammal.
Its a truth in advertising thing. Also it degrades the meaning of “milk”.
but I do admit to liking malted milk balls. Which does not degrade malt, milk or balls..

Can't do those anymore due to the sugar content but they were good.but I do admit to liking malted milk balls.
