Be careful of the singular word "THE" when referring to a predator.

What I mean is, continue to set the trap.
Predators don't appear in a vacuum. They have friends and relatives.

This is a good time of year for getting the pelt from a mink, it's when they're most plush and valuable.

Yeah, mink are tiny. Shorter but a bit thicker than least weasels.

Here's an adult mink with the last 2 birds it killed. I had lost about 45 by that time. But it's relatives weren't finished attacking

A fisher or marten can carry off chickens.

It's a mink, it stinks like a mink and is actually a lot smaller than it appears in the pic, we still have it alive, for some reason the BF hasn't killed it yet....
