Since your coop is used with unknown previous husbandry practices, you will also have to sanitize the coop as well, and if it was me, I would spray every crack and corner with permethrin to get rid of any possible mites. They are a nightmare for chickens and some will refuse to go inside to avoid them. Not everyone builds a suitable coop so you might want to check if other modifications may need to be made... especially important is ventilation. Do you have a picture?
