Weak baby chick, possibly cocci, please help!

Okay, I just brought it in to a brooder box to evaluate it a little more, and it is peeping it's head off calling for mom! It hasn't pooped yet, but I will get a pic when she does. She is def. mad at being separated from the others, I guess that is a good thing. Maybe I'm overreacting, and the chick is fine.

Maybe put a buddy in with it? And if you have a food scale, weigh it daily. Healthy chicks gain weight daily. Chicks with coccidiosis or infections stay the same or lose weight. Just weigh at the same time each day.

Edited to add: I would not treat with anything other than Corid unless I saw weight loss.

I only have three chicks left, so if I bring a buddy I'll have to bring both, and then mom will have no chicks. Maybe I bring them all in?

The amoxicillian is already in a suspension, b/c it was for a kid. 400 mg per 5ml. Is that something I can work with?

I'm not positive, but I think it's not stable after 7-10 days. Call a pharmacist and ask. Some suspensions have very short shelf lives.

I do have a food scale around here somewhere, I'll have to look for it. I got baby to take <1cc of sugar water, and I'm boiling eggs now. Pretty sure the whole little fam will have to come in, she is putting up quite a fuss!

I checked, the suspension was only good for 14 days, darn. Baby pooped, and it looks normal to me, no blood at least. I took a pic, but can't get the macro on my camera to work properly so it's blurry.

Ace giving me baby stink eye.

poop, looks okay?
I added the other two chicks, and Ace has calmed down, but now mom is freaked. I'll have to set up a dog crate for them all I guess, hubby is going to love this!
