Weak Chick need help please

My recently hatched chick is weak and has lost a bit of blood if anybody could tell me if i could get him to drink something that could perhaps help him (i heard water with a bit of sugar) but i don't know how much to give him and if it will even help.. I dont believe i could currently get him to drink on his own but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

You can drip a bit of liquid along the side of its beak, even with the mouth closed. It should draw some in and swallow it. If you add sugar, I would only add a little, and only for a day or two.

You can use a straw to get him to drink .... just put one end into whatever you want him to drink and then cover the other end with your finger. Carefully place his beak in the end of the straw and remove your finger from the end.

I had some baby chicks that arrived weak and this is how I got some water with electrolytes in them. It helped a lot.
