I'm so sorry. It seems to be a trend today. I've lost 8 so far today. It's sad but you get used to it. I know that may sound harsh, but it's true. You reach a point where you've lost so many that you're just kinda numb to it. It's a part of raising any animal. You win some and you lose some. I've lost count of how many I've lost. I had to cull my very first one today. Usually they die on their own or I have my dad do it. This one was suffering and my dad was no where near home, so I did it. Then sobbed my eyeballs out. It's not really something most people will ever be okay with, just something they accept will happen. I'm sure you did the very best you could. You can't save 'em all. *giant hugs from Texas*![]()
Unfortunately, I want to save them all... chickens, dogs, cats, horses, you name it. I keep thinking I would like to work with a rescue, but I get too emotional. Probably not a good idea. Just keep trying on the try to save one or two as I can.
Thank you for your words of support. And I am very sorry you lost some as well!
