Weak, weight loss and pale comb

No not rude. I work long hrs before the holidays and my husband works long hrs during the winter so our feather babies unfortunately don’t get all the time they need. I just told my husband this morning that even tho we are buys with the holidays they need our attention asap!
Perfect..Chickens fall ill if management is not correct. Cleanliness is extremely important. Balanced nutrition also.
Best of luck getting it cleaned up. I use pine shaving in my Coop.

I don't think your chicken is sick as she's active And coordinative ..
Sick chickens have no fun
As she's year old and molting that's why she's weak ..molting required a high protein nutrients rick diet especially in winters .
You can buy poultry vitamin witj amino acids &/without iron and give it to your chickens especially in winters to maintain their body temperature . also minimize drafts properly coop ventilation ..and hygiene is important
Comb loses color due to lack of oxygen in blood stream also so provide plenty of fresh water ..

After this monitor your chicken will get back healthy

We also use pine shavings. I’m picking up another load today so we can get them all situated!

Thank you for your advice I’m happy to hear you don’t think she is sick!

Yes, putting a load of pine shavings down after removing some of the droppings and old bedding will help. I keep a bag inside my coop for them to use as a ladder up to roosts, and use out of it when things get messy. It won't hurt to start some Corid in their water for 5 days if she perhaps has coccidiosis. Dosage is 1 1/2 tablespoonful of the powder per gallon of water.
