It's been snowing lightly but steadily all morning here in Mid-TN, but it's not collecting much. Good luck to the folks east of us this afternoon! You may have some accumulation.

It is spitting some small sleet here now. Not much but on and off little spurts of it with the temp dropping fast and the wind has picked way up

From Meteorologist David Chandley

The Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect tonight and tomorrow morning for parts of North Georgia. Roughly an area north of a Jasper-Dahlonega-Cornelia line. Spots above 2000 feet could see 1-3 inches of snow by morning. Metro Atlanta will have a few flurries, but no accumulations. It will be windy and cold on Tuesday.

Rest of the day: Mostly cloudy, with some light showers and flurries by evening. Snow possible in the mountains. Winds West 15-20 mph. High in the 40s, but temps stay in the 30s for the mountains.

Tonight: Cloudy and cold with a few snow showers, accumulations mainly in the mountains. Lows in the 20s.
