I was looking at my 3 week old chicks and my FBCM roo chick has webbing between its middle and outside toe where the feathers run up its legs. Is this normal? It's bilateral and he seems to be quite healthy every other way.

It is a dominant genetic fault, a disqualification in exhibition, and a good reason not to use him in breeding program.

Breeding from this bird will increase the problems with the feet of his progeny, as well as webs, you will also get shortened and missing toes.
But they are your birds and so your choice.

I would say, "Please don't allow this bird to breed".

He will pass it on to many of not most of his offspring. It is a fault found in feather footed birds. I hatched out some a while back and I rehomed all of the web footed ones.
