Week old chick sick? *new video update*

So we woke up this morning to a spunky chick. I've been feeding it liquid via dropper throughout the night but can't get food into its system. I'm thinking we definitely have wry neck. Here is this mornings video...

How do I get him to eat? I wrap him in a cloth and hold his head up but he doesn't peck or even show interest.

I guess now the question becomes, what do I do with this chick. All of the resources you all have provided talk of recovery in months. Cornish hens aren't generally kept past 8 weeks.

He does look better! The few I've had that did have wry neck had to be tube fed. I could teach you how, but is that something you want to do? If it were mine I'd tube it and it would become a pet, lol.

Did you hatch the eggs yourself or purchase the chicks/eggs from someone? personally if it was my chick I would put it down and look into getting the eggs or chicks from a different supplier if you got them from someone and let them know, they may give you a refund, as you say being a Cornish plus a meat bird it will be too much work for a bird that you are not going to keep for very long whatever it may be suffering from, sorry I couldn't be much help

These were bought as day old chicks. I haven't ventured into hatching my own eggs....yet! :)

I will be letting the hatchery know. I'm not so much concerned with a refund as I am with letting them know they may have some bad genes running around.

If it were feasible to keep it as a pet I would. Cornish rick hens don't make good pets. If this were one of my layers I would definitely be going the distance (as cold as that sounds foir this little guy).
