Please help! I have a duckling that was the only successful hatch out of 7. The incubator I bought from amazon was shotty, and had a tempspike of 102 and killed all but one duckling before hatch. Number 7 hatched with goos timing and has been healthy until today. She is weak, has no interest in food or water, and is shakey. She is normally hyper, chases flies, and runs when you try to touch her. As of this evening, I noticed her having issues. (She was fine this morning.) I took her out and noticed that she had build up around her rear, and put her in the bath tub to loosen it. She pooped a few times, but it was a stringy white instead of her usual solid. She just seems to be unwell. Please help!

She seems to be doing a tad better, but not great. She is a week and 3 days old. I've read that ducks are susceptible to breathing in spores from chicken coops that can cause diseases. She's also breathing heavily. I also read that apple cider vinegar can help rid them of toxic bacteria, and electrolytes are never a bad idea when an animal is sick. So I put a few drops of ACV in with an electrolyte mix, and have some to her through a medicinal syringe I stole from our kids allergy medicine. I've also considered a nebulizer treatment, as crazy as that sounds. Her breathing and tiredness are my concerns :( we brought her in and have been giving her LOTS of tlc, liquids, a warm bath, cuddles, etc. We got a tote and made her a set up on our closet that has outlets for her heart lamp.

She is by herself in a seperate "container", it's a large water holder. She has fresh bedding, the right feed, and her water is deep enough with as small as she is. She is on a big table right next to the inside part of our chicken coop though.

Oh, it's totally lonely. Ducklings need other Ducklings or many times they lose the will to live. A mirror and a Teddy is needed and is it warm enough?

We have other ducklings, but they're weeks older and too rough. I am going to do everything I can to help her! I'm going to try to stay up with her for as long as I can. I was worried about only having one hatch, because I had heard that they can't be alone. She did great until randomly today.
